פּוּנְקְלִיןm. pl. (πανούκλοιν, Hesych. s. v. πήνιον; πανοῦλκος quot. in Sm. Ant. s. v. Tela; Lat. panuncula) threads wound around the bobbin. B. Kam. 119b אין לוקחין … ולא פ׳ (Ms. M. פונקנין, Ms. H. פונקין) you dare not buy from the weaver … threads of the bobbin (v. נִיר IV); Tosef. ib. XI, 11 פָּאנִיקְנִין (Var. פאנקין; anoth. var. סנאקנין, corr. acc.).
